As part of a topcoat of a resin coating system, M120XB methyl silicone resin can help provide exceptional protection to surfaces exposed to weather and high temperatures.
Room-temperature curing formulations can be developed to yield excellent weather stability and corrosion protection. Elevated cure formulations (150°C) can yield good resistance to oils, greases and gasoline products. Topcoats based on M120XB methyl silicone resin and properly pigmented can achieve exceptional thermal stability.
