PPG PR-1782 Class A is a two-part manganese dioxide cured polysulfide sealant. It is a low density, aircraft fuel tank and general purpose sealant. It has a service temperature range of -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C). A-2 represents an application life of 2 hours.

Product Information
This material is designed for brush sealing of fasteners in fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. It offers as much as a 30% weight saving, per unit volume, over traditional sealants used for these purposes. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.The cured sealant maintains elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels both jet fuel and aviation gas and will resist limited contact to dephosphate ester based hydrualic fluids.
