RF 6004 (Mod 1) is a low-viscosity, multifunctional epoxy resin blend tailored for filament winding and laminating applications. Compared to RF 6004, this modified formulation provides higher functionality and lower viscosity (900 cPs at 25°C), enhancing processability while maintaining excellent wet-out of fibers. When cured with anhydrides or cycloaliphatic amines, RF 6004 Mod 1 achieves exceptionally high glass transition temperatures (Tg of 228°C), making it suitable for advanced composite structures requiring superior thermal and mechanical stability.

Its extended pot life (>18 hours at 25°C with RF 53 curing agent) offers flexibility for large-scale part fabrication and complex layup processes, while its performance profile ensures durability and reliability in demanding environments.
