AeroShell Fluid 4 is a mineral hydraulic oil with excellent low-temperature characteristics and can operate over a wide temperature range. AeroShell Fluid 4 comprises a mineral oil base stock and a complex additive package, resulting in good low-temperature flow properties, anti-wear properties, antifoam characteristics, and oxidation stability.

Product Information
The product is intended as a hydraulic fluid in undercarriage retraction mechanisms, flap jacks and control mechanisms, brakes, shock absorbers, automatic pilots, oleo legs, tail wheels, and servo units. It is also suitable for lubricating de-icing pumps and gearboxes. It can be used in systems with synthetic rubber components and must cant be employed in systems incorporating natural rubber. It has an excellent working temperature range operating within pressurised environments between –54°C (–75°F) and +135°C (+275°F).
