PPG PR2200 B-1 Electrically Conductive Sealant
PPG PR2200 Class B is a fast-curing, electrically conductive sealant that inhibits corrosion. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -55°C (-67°) to +121°C (+250°F) for regular use; and can also handle occasional spikes in temperature up to +182°C (+360°F).
- Product Type Specialty Sealant
The cured sealant offers outstanding electrical conductivity and effectively shields against EMI/RFI. It is a protective barrier, preventing corrosion on aluminum alloys and between different metals. Moreover, the sealant remains resistant to jet fuel and aviation gas exposure.
PPG PR 2200 Class B is a two-part, nickel-filled, epoxy-cured Permapol® P-3.1 polythioether compound. In its uncured state, it is a low-sag thixotropic paste that can be applied using an extrusion gun or spatula.
