Resin Formulators RF 6007 A/B Epoxy Resin
RF 6007 A/B is a low-viscosity, toughened epoxy resin system engineered for structural infusion applications requiring elevated temperature performance. Designed for high-volume processing, the resin offers excellent flow characteristics (1400 cPs at 25°C and 100 cPs at 50°C) and a long pot life of 180 minutes at room temperature, making it highly suitable for large, complex composite structures.
Once cured, RF 6007 exhibits outstanding mechanical properties, including compressive strength of 18,103 psi, tensile strength of 10,763 psi, and a tensile modulus of 460 ksi. With a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 193°C, this system delivers exceptional thermal stability and toughness for demanding structural applications. Its cured density of 1.24 g/cc ensures a strong balance between durability and lightweight performance.
