PPG PR-2050 A/B Smoothing Compound
PPG PR-2050 Class B is a two-part, epoxy cured Permapol P-3.1 polythioether compound. It is a rapid curing compound designed for aerodynamic smoothing and gap filling applications with a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), and intermittent excursions up to 400°F (204°C). B-1/2 represents an application life of 1/2 hour.
Product Information
This product has low shrinkage and cures to a sandable hardness in at least one hour @77°F (25°C) or above. When cured, it remains flexible, reducing potential cracking problems that can be experienced with more brittle sealing compounds.
