PPG PR-1771 B-2 A/B Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant
PPG PR-1771 Class B is a two-part manganese dioxide cured, Permapol P-5 modified polysulfide. It is a non-chromate, low density, corrosion inhibitive sealant with a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). B-2 represents an application life of 2 hours.

Product Information
This material is designed for aircraft fuselage sealing applications, such as exterior butt joints and aerodynamic smothing, where a flexible elastomeric seal is required to prevent intrusion of moisture and provide protection from the common causes of corrosion. It provides a weight saving of as much as 40% over traditional sealants used for these purposes.
