PPG PR-1776 Class C is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured Permapol P-5 modified polysulfide. It is a low density, high temperature, aircraft integral fuel tank sealant with a service temperature range of -54°C (-65°F) to 121°C (250°F) with intermittent excursions up to 182°C (360°F). C-8 represents an application life of 8 hours.

Product Information
This material is designed for brush sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. It offers as much as a 20% weight savings, per unit volume, over traditional sealants used for these purposes. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas.
