Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) Test
Resin Formulators now offers advanced lab testing for its own Resin Formulators epoxy resins, as well as specialty chemicals manufactured by other suppliers.
The primary purpose of the Coefficient of Thermal Expansion Test (CTE) method is to determine the increased thermal agitation that expands the volume of a solid. The change in any dimension is directly proportional to the change in temperature.
Note: Testing will be completed on non-RF material that you supply to our laboratory.

Product Information
The coefficient relating these is an intrinsic characteristic of the material, determined by thermomechanical analysis (TMA) over a given temperature ranges. For thermoset plastics, the coefficient of thermal expansion above and below the glass transition is reported.
