Araldite 2014 Structural Adhesive 50 ml Dual Cartridge (Huntsman Standard COC)
Araldite 2014 is a two-part, room temperature cure, thixotropic paste adhesive with very low shrinkage. The main purpose for this adhesive is to be used for bonding metals, electronic components, GRP structures or other items where the temperature is higher than normal in an aggressive environment. This advanced product is formulated as a structural adhesive with high strength and excellent environmental resistance.

Product Information
The low out gassing of this product epoxy makes it suitable for telecommunication and aerospace applications. It is also extremely resistant to water and high temperatures. The epoxy is gap filling and non-sagging up to .197 inches thickness. The durability and strength of the adhesive is dependent on the proper surface treatment of the substrates needed to be bonded.
The surfaces need to be cleaned and degreased to remove all the traces of oil, grease and dirt. The most durable and strongest joints are obtained by chemically etching or mechanically abrading the surfaces. The lap shear strength will depend on the material that is being bonded.
