Ron Cloud joined E.V. Roberts as CEO in 1993 to continue to build on the legacy Ernie had started. On December 30, 2020, GracoRoberts closed the acquisition of Able Aerospace Adhesives to extend our footprint in the international aerospace specialty chemicals market, most prominently in the Asia-Pacific Region. Additionally, the acquisition brings with it another 36 years of aerospace relationships and expertise, with an even deeper concentration in the military and MRO markets, amplifying the company’s already sound position as the largest and most specification-driven aerospace specialty chemicals distributor in North America.
On March 4, 2021, GracoRoberts
announced the acquisition of UK-based
Silmid to forge the largest aerospace-focused and specification-driven specialty chemicals distributor in the world. This partnership offers the global aerospace community a larger portfolio of products and operational efficiencies in more warehouse locations, a streamlined customer experience through a standards-setting online distribution channel, and
value-added services – all in support of the evolving needs of our customer and supplier partners.
On July 27, 2022, GracoRoberts
combined with
SkyGeek.com to address the evolving needs of our stakeholders by significantly expanding global ecommerce capabilities and our offerings in the MRO segment. With the addition of SkyGeek’s extensive online portfolio of shop and hangar products (including specialty chemicals, avionics and instruments, tools and equipment, and aircraft and engine parts), we now provide the global aerospace community with immediate access to over 100,000 products – with 25,000 in-stock at any given time – an offering that redefines the customer experience and works to ease industry-related
supply chain challenges.
On May 18, 2023, GracoRoberts acquired
stocking distributor
Pacific Coast Composites to provide immediate access to a wide range of composites products. With this addition, customers enjoy immediate access to a historically long-lead time product offering – upwards of 30 days to one year – via spec-driven in-house converting, custom kitting and slitting capabilities, and rapid turn and same day shipping on made-to-order composites materials.
