Bonderite M-CR 1201 AERO is approved to MIL-DTL-81706 for brush application only and is used as received for MIL-DTL-5541 work. Adjustments and titrations are not needed or required.
The coating formed by Bonderite M-CR 1201 AERO is gold to tan in color and it becomes a part of the aluminum surface. This chrome conversion coating offers the best affordable substrate for both paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.
