Dowsil 1200 OS Primer is formulated to improve adhesion and accelerate adhesion build-up of silicone sealants to an array substrates. The moisture curing primer is supplied as a dilute solution of reactive materials in low viscosity siloxane.

The hardwearing formulation allows for stronger uniform bonds, while it also remains active several hours after its initial application. The product can also improve adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. The product is easy to use and remains active several hours after its initial application. It has a low toxicity, and low VOC content and the solvents used within it do not deplete the ozone layer. It is also resistant to ozone ultra-violet radiation and wide-ranging temperature extremes.
