    Position Summary / Objective:

    Assists the CFO in directing the organization’s finance and accounting functions as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recommendations for pay adjustments and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Duties / Responsibilities:

    General

    • Conducts all business activities representing GracoRoberts (Graco) with the highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
    • Focuses on meeting the customers, Board of Directors, and internal Graco Management Team’s needs and expectations.
    • Follows established processes and procedures to ensure all quality requirements are met.

    Job Specific

    • Oversees and directs daily accounting functions to include – general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
    • Train, monitor and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of financial and cash controls and information flow throughout the accounting and finance functions to ensure compliance, accurate records and minimize liabilities, losses and expenses.
    • Direct and oversee preparation of daily and monthly journal entries, monthly financial statements, consolidations, daily operating statistics, expense analysis and cash requirements report.
    • Direct and oversee monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
    • Direct and oversee monthly reporting, Vendor POS, Sales Analysis.
    • Direct and oversee sales commission calculation and payments.
    • Develop and manage annual company budget.
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Preparation of monthly and quarterly bank borrowing base and covenant reports for review by the CFO.
    • Track and forecast any covenants that may be required by lenders or others.
    • Completion of audit schedules for bank auditors and the year-end financial audit. Also acts a primary daily contact and liaison with auditors during the completion of the field work.
    • Provides and directs procedures and interfaces with the IT department to develop the computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.
    • Work with the organization regarding PO processing and approvals of expenditures; be the safety net to ensure appropriate controls.
    • Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
    • Develops and maintains adequate working relationships with all operating departments of the company.
    • Assists the CFO with special projects and analysis and ad hoc reporting.
    • Primary accounting responsibility for and liaison with operations for monthly inventory accounting and physical inventories.
    • Accounting staff supervision and training.

     Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting required.
    • P.A. is required.
    • Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience required.
    • 5 years of supervisory experience required.
    • “Big Four” or national accounting firm audit experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Strong experience in both the private and public accounting sectors is preferred, but not required.
    • Experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), foreign currency and international entities.

    The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for the maintenance, development, and administration of all quality systems of the company with a focus on operational excellence. This position drives Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and reports directly to the V.P. of Operations.

    • Develops strategic quality roadmap and translates into tactical execution.

    • Oversees all Internal & External certification audits (ISO9001:2015, AS9100D & AS9120B).
    • Governs corporate QMS.
    • Presides over Non-Conformance process, drives Root Cause & Corrective Action.

    • Works directly with VP Ops to drive corporate quality, standardization, and safety.

    • Investigates and cultivates new sources for supplies and products.

    • Monitor and maintain min/max stocking levels for assigned product lines to ensure availability of material and products at all times.
    • Monitor and action Open Purchase Order reports to ensure that PO due dates are accurate and up to date.
    • Reviews on-time delivery data for assigned product lines and communicates corrective action requests to vendors.
    • Communicates and resolves non-conformance issues for the assigned product line.
