GracoRoberts Appoints New COO

GracoRoberts Taps Aerospace Industry Veteran Lee Sullivan as Chief Operating Officer

New Position Designed to Scale the Global Enterprise for Growth

ARLINGTON, Texas, September 11, 2023 – GracoRoberts announced that it has appointed Lee Sullivan as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the GracoRoberts family of brands, made up of GracoRoberts, UK-based Silmid, SkyGeek.com, and ready-to-ship composites leader Pacific Coast Composites.

In his role, Mr. Sullivan will lead GracoRoberts to scale for growth, speed-to-market, and efficiency across the global organization and boost its standing as the largest, fastest, and most technical aerospace specialty chemicals distributor in the world.

He will provide strategic leadership and oversight across global distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and facilities/real estate, with a sharp focus on building value for all stakeholders. Mr. Sullivan commented on his decision to join GracoRoberts. “I am excited to return to the world of aerospace distribution and I’m especially honored to do it with GracoRoberts. I admire the company’s leadership and strategic presence, and importantly, I know this organization is a strong cultural fit for me. I’m proud to be part of such a winning team.”

Jason Caldwell, President and CEO, offered thoughts on his newest addition to the Executive Team. “We are thrilled to have Lee join the GracoRoberts organization at such an exciting time in our company’s growth. As we invest in a world-class ecommerce, procurement, and distribution strategy, Lee’s expertise in customer satisfaction, organizational culture, and continuous improvement will take us to the next level as the supplier of choice."

Lee comes to GracoRoberts with three decades of business operations experience, most recently as the COO for Pine Environmental, a leading equipment provider for environmental monitoring, nondestructive testing, remote visual inspection, safety, and field supplies. Twenty of those 30 years were spent in aerospace specialty chemicals and consumables, where he held leadership positions at aerospace distribution giant Incora in Customer Operations, Quality, and Continuous Improvement. Prior to beginning his business career, Mr. Sullivan served his country as an Engineer Platoon Leader in the 101st Airborne Division deploying to Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
