3M Nextel Sewing Thread 440 is made from Nextel 440 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide fiber. It is wrapped with rayon fiber to impart resiliency, abrasion resistance and improve sewability.

Product Information
This product is designed to be strong and flexible enough to be sewn under specialized sewing conditions while maintaining strength and flexibility for service under a variety of high temperature conditions. It may be useful for electrical or thermal insulating items that require stitched, quilited or sewn connections such as blankets, pillows and articles that are often filled with high temperature bulk fiber/insulation products.
