Cosmoline 1060 is a thick, firm wax-like grease product that produces no oil slick when submerged in salt water. Cosmoline 1060 provides unshielded outdoor storage for guns and other munitions, and is recommended for long term protection of highly finished parts.

Application:
This product can be applied via spray dip or brush.
- Application by Brush: melting point achieved at 155-degrees F
- Application by Dipping: must heat product to bath temperature between 175-200-degrees F
- Application by Spray: must heat product to 200-220-degrees F
Removal:
Removal of protective films is accomplished by using a steam cleaner or washing the parts in mineral spirits, solvent thinner, vapor degreaser, or hot alkaline wash.
