PPG PR-2001 Class B is a two-part, epoxy cured Permapol P-3.1 polythioether compound. It is a rapid cure, low odor, aircraft integral fuel tank, fuselage and aerodynamic smoothing sealant with a broad service temperature range, from -62°C (-80°F) to +160° (+320°F), with intermittent excursions allowed up to +216°C (+420°F). B-1/2 represents an application life of 1/2 hour.

This versatile material is primarily designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and various aircraft fuselage sealing needs. It has excellent adhesion to properly prepared common aircraft substrates. Once cured, the sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas, ensuring long-term durability.
