S-1023 is a white high temperature resistant silicone coating. Manufactured at sprayable viscosity, it can be used as an external coating on launch vehicles and payloads shrouds. Because the coating is based on silicone rubber, a primer, such as CS 9903, is required to obtain satisfactory adhesion to most surfaces.
