Loctite SI 5248 is a translucent, straw-colored, thixotropic light-curing acetoxy silicone sealant. It is fluorescent under UV light, allowing visual inspection of bead. It has a deep light cure capability - both ultraviolet and visible - combined with a secondary moisture cure mechanism for shadow curing. It is suited to plastics and highly suited to glass, ceramics and metals.
