3M 8641 Polyurethane Protective Tape
3M Polyurethane Protective Tape 8641 is a high impact polyurethane protective tape with an acrylic foam adhesive. It is often referred to as a "Belly Tape" and is designed to provide a high level of protection for aircraft skins and panels, particularly against small foreign object damage.

Product Information
This product helps reduce Days Out of Service (DOS) through its long-term durability, while also minimising the amount of PPE required compared to alternative methods due to its no-VOC formulation. It can be perforated for application on both pressurised and non-pressurised surfaces, and is also available in a non-perforated form. It also eliminates the need for a waste stream profile as it is landfillable, and provides a high level of protection for aircraft skins and panels against small Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
